Tim Smith

Since the beginning of 2019, Tim Smith has been Managing Director of Business Development for Hazeltree and is responsible for the Data Analytics and Securities Finance product lines. Before moving to Hazeltree, Smith managed the FIS Astec Analytics Data Suite as well as the FIS Kiodex commodity risk solution business (120 team members) from 2008 until 2018. Over his career, Smith held numerous senior positions covering every participant in the securities financing value chain from institutional lenders (AXA Investment Managers), through agent lenders (Bank of America/Security Pacific National Bank) to Broker dealers (Pershing Securities) and hedge fund borrower (Banque Arabe et Internationale d’investissement).
